Parallel Studios is set to expand its Web3 gaming offerings with the release of 120 new sci-fi NFT trading cards called ‘Planetfall’. These cards will be available for purchase in a presale of blind bundles on October 28 at 3 pm (EST).
There will be three different card bundles available for gamers to choose from. The ‘Player Pack’ priced at $32 (0.018 ETH), and the ‘Collector’s Pack’ priced at approximately $320 (0.18 ETH) will both contain 10 cards each. The ‘Collector’s Crate’ is the most enticing option, as it includes 10 Collector’s Packs, totaling 100 highly desirable cards, and additional perks, all for around $2.848 (1.6 ETH).
It’s important to note that these NFT cards will not become crucial components of the game until the first or second quarter of 2024. However, a significant portion of the cards has been set aside for Manifest collectors and players, so it is advisable to act quickly to secure one.
Once these NFT cards are available, Parallel players will have the opportunity to create their own card decks and select a powerful ‘Paragon’ main character to engage in head-to-head battles. The objective is to defeat the opponent by depleting their health pool using their most valuable virtual collectibles.
This expansion of Parallel’s NFT card offerings is a significant milestone for the company. Since its introduction to the NFT market in March 2021, Parallel has witnessed impressive trading volumes, selling almost 6 million assets and generating approximately $237 million (78,000 ETH).
