Diesel Spotlights NFT Access Passes for Milan Fashion Week
Diesel, the renowned fashion brand, is offering an exciting opportunity to gain access to Milan Fashion Week through its latest NFT release. The company is granting 300 guests exclusive access to its show on September 20, and these coveted passes are available for purchase at $60 each.
Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, Diesel has partnered with Public Pressure, a dedicated NFT music marketplace, to launch these limited-run digital collectibles. The NFTs are held on the Polkadot and Polygon blockchains, allowing users to choose their preferred blockchain ecosystem.
Owning one of these Metamorph NFTs comes with several exciting perks. The primary benefit is the exclusive access to Diesel’s upcoming Spring 2024 collection at Milan Fashion Week, where holders can join the ranks of buyers, editors, and influencers in attendance. In addition, the NFTs include an exclusive soundtrack from composer Senjan Jansen, enhancing the overall appeal of these digital assets.
But the benefits don’t stop there. NFT holders will also gain access to music events organized by Public Pressure and enjoy a virtual experience crafted by media-tech artists Artificial Rome starting November 2.
This venture into the world of NFTs is not Diesel’s first. The fashion brand embarked on its NFT journey in the spring of 2022 when it launched the NFT platform called D:VERSE, led by Public Pressure. Public Pressure is dedicated to utilizing blockchain technology to empower artists by ensuring they receive a more equitable share of revenue, a significant departure from traditional streaming platforms. This collaboration with Public Pressure marks Diesel’s third NFT drop, with the previous two releases selling out within a day earlier this year.
Diesel’s earlier NFT endeavors also involved a partnership with the streetwear collective HAPE, where they released exclusive limited-edition physical crossbody bags alongside their NFT offerings. These HAPE PRIME NFTs currently hold a floor price of around $333 (0.2091 ETH) on OpenSea.
Through these NFT initiatives, Diesel continues to push the boundaries of fashion, art, and technology.
