SYS Labs has recently announced the mainnet launch of its EVM-L2 scaling platform Rollux, scheduled for June 28, 2023. Rollux is an Optimistic rollup fork that brings speed, security, affordability, and scalability, which the blockchain ecosystem needs to achieve mass adoption. The platform will provide an EVM experience offering faster, cheaper, and secure transactions at scale, making it more accessible to users, developers, and enterprises.
According to the SYS Labs team, the mainnet launch follows a successful dry-run test of the Rollux version, with community feedback being positive. Rollux mainnet will have a two-second transaction finality secured by Bitcoin, providing users with faster, efficient, and affordable transactions.
SYS Lab’s CEO, Jagdeep Sidhu, stated that “our vision has always been to bridge the gap between the existing capabilities of blockchain and the needs of users, developers, and enterprises. Rollux is that bridge.”
In addition, SYS Labs has recently announced several products and services tailored to enable users to leverage Rollux’s capabilities fully. These include the AI-infused social platform SuperDapp, DeFi exchange Pegasys, NFT platform Luxy, web wallet Pali Wallet, DAOSYS, a new standard for decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) models, and Camada, a non-custodial, regulatory-compliant asset management tool for institutions and retail.
The Syscoin ecosystem is also expected to host multiple partners that will likely build on Rollux once it goes live.
Overall, Rollux’s mainnet launch is expected to transform the blockchain ecosystem by providing speed, security, affordability, and scalability, which are essential for mass adoption. The announcement from SYS Labs has generated a lot of excitement among the blockchain community, and the platform’s successful launch could be a significant step forward for the entire industry.
