Blockchain startup Spielworks has joined forces with Ethereum layer 2 scaling platform Polygon to integrate its game Dungeon Master with the ability to securely stake non-fungible tokens (NFTs) via Spielworks’ Wombat wallet. NFTs from three popular platforms, namely Blockchain Cuties, Planet IX, and NeftyBlocks, will be available for staking.
The integration comes at a time when web3 games are experiencing a surge in popularity and creative ways for individuals to earn virtual currency.
Starting June 8, Wombat Wallet users will be able to stake NFTs from three major platforms based on Polygon, and a new NFT of Spielworks will also be available for staking.
Adrian Krion, CEO and co-founder of Spielworks, emphasized the importance of incorporating Polygon NFTs into the Wombat ecosystem to improve the overall community experience. This collaboration between Spielworks and Polygon is another significant milestone for the rapidly advancing blockchain gaming industry.
